Remember
the year 1984. It is quite a remarkable year. Various new
possibilities emerge in its course and events of yet undreamed-of
consequence have their beginning. They will eventually go down in
history...
Kasr
El Nil, a son of Tuhotmos and originally imported from Egypt, arrives
in Germany after eleven years of standing at stud in Topolcianky,
a state stud in Eastern Europe. The Ansata Ibn Halima son Ansata
El Mabrouk leaves the United States for Paraguay. The American stallions
The Egyptian Prince and Ansata Omar Halim are sending their sons
Al Kidir and Shaikh Al Jiwan to Germany. Aswan, one of the last
Nazeer sons, dies much bemoaned at age 26 at Tersk. At the same
time in another corner of the world Simeon Shai, a future World
Champion Stallion, is born at Simeon Stud in Australia and in the
USA the famous Bint Magidaa gives birth to Alidaar, her seventh
colt by Shaikh Al Badi. 1984 is also the year in which a colt is
born at a particularly small studfarm in the North of Germany. His
breeders Ruth and Siegfried Paufler name him "Madhin",
but he will earn world fame under the name of Imperial Madheen.

Ansata
Halim Shah
Reserve Junior World Champion Colt of Paris 1983
A
three-year-old grey colt from the USA had proven himself an outstanding
success during the World Championship in 1983. He was immediately
stationed with Dr. Nagel's "Katharinenhof" in Germany
to prove his worth as a sire to the European breeding community.
Today, the young colt's name is universally known. Indeed, throughout
the world connoisseurs of Arab horses refer to Ansata Halim Shah
with nothing but praise. He earned highest renown for his exotic
type combined with an outstanding charisma and prepotency.

Malaka
The first daughter of Ansata Halim Shah in Germany
German
breeders turn their attention to the first two foals of Ansata Halim
Shah, due at the end of the year 1984. The filly Malaka (x Kis Mahiba)
and the colt Assad (x Arussa) are born at the Katharinenhof. With
their excellent type and presence they prove true to the hopes of
their breeder Dr.Nagel. Breeders begin to wait with great anticipation
for the next foal crop of Ansata Halim Shah. 21 German-bred foals
follow in the course of the year 1985 and another five in 1986.
All in all there are 14 fillies and 14 colts - and all do honour
to their father's name.
