Nedschd Mansour (Maydan-Madheen x El Thay Maymouna) is one of those dynamic young stallions that immediately attracts the eye. He was born in 2005 and stood out from the very beginning. "When he was born we instantly knew he was special," say his breeders and owners Gabriele Schuster and Dr. Ferdinand Denzinger of Nedschd Arabians in Germany. Their confidence in him was so high that they repeated the breeding immediately which resulted in the refined and exotic filly Nedschd Malikah (Malikah being the Arabic word for "queen"). "Though only two years old now, this proud little lady knows exactly that she is indeed the queen of our farm," says Gabriele Schuster. The third full sibling is the outstanding colt Nedschd Maydan Ibn Maymouna, born in 2008. |
Eine beeindruckende Bilanz für einen so jungen Hengst! |
He possesses the show attitude and refinement of his sire, the multi-champion and "Gold Stallion" Maydan-Madheen (Maysoun x Mesaoudah M) and the classic type, smooth body, bold movement and depth of heart girth of his dam, El Thay Maymouna (El Thay Ibn Halim Shah x El Thay Bint Kamla) who was awarded the "Premium Mare" title by the German Arab Horse Society for her outstanding quality. He is handsome, with a classic short head, huge poppy eyes, a well-pronounced dish and a teacup muzzzle. Overall he is the epitome of the Dahman strain – good length of shoulder, well-muscled, strong and deep in body, bold moving and charismatic. His pedigree combines some of the best straight Egyptian horses of Germany and the USA. In fact, all of his ancestors are "Elite" horses , a title given by the German Arab Horse Society to those rare individuals who excelled in both the showring and the breeding shed. His sire line traces via Maydan-Madheen by Maysoun (elite) to Ansata Halim Shah (elite). Maydan-Madheen’s dam is the elite mare Mesaoudah M (Messaoud, elite x Madinah, elite), a full sister to the famous sire of significane Imperial Madheen and dam of the inspiring young stallion Mishaal HP, who brought the famous Arabians Ltd. breeding program into the next generation. With the exportation of his sire Maydan-Madheen to Sharjah, Nedschd Mansour is emerging as his legitimate heir. His dam El Thay Maymouna is the daughter of the elite stallion El Thay Ibn Halim Shah (Ansata Halim Shah, elite x Mahameh, elite) out the broodmare supreme, El Thay Bint Kamla (El Thay Mansour, elite x Kamla II, elite) who gave birth to not only one but two stallions who were awarded a Gold premium at the German Stallion Show (and to a third son, who earned a Silver premium). The international multi champion and race winner El Thay Ibn Halim Shah was not only famous for his extraordinary type but also for his striking movement. His grandson Nedschd Mansour is very reminiscent to him. In tail female line Nedschd Mansour traces back to the ethereal beautiful Kamla II (Ansata Halim Shah x Mona III), who founded her own dynasty in Germany and the Middle East. Mansour’s first foals started to arrive in 2008 and were everything his breeders had hoped for. "We got four exceptional foals by Mansour so far", says Gabriele Schuster. They all show his sire’s showy attitude, his extreme head, beautiful way of going, excellent topline and lovely disposition. Ferdinand Schwestermann, the President of the Pyramid Society Europe, believed in this young stallion right from the start and sent him one of his best mares. In 2008 he was rewarded with an exceptional filly. "Although he was heavily occupied with his showring appearances in 2008, some more foals of him will hit the ground this year", says Gabriele Schuster. "We can’t wait to see them!" In 2009 Nedschd Mansour will be available for a limited number of mares. More information about him, his offspring, showring success and his home can be obtained at www.nedschd-arab.com |
