Hi -- I'm trying to upload a .jpg photo into a classified ad. I keep getting an error message the the "upload file is larger than the available space" even though the file is only 13.8 kilobytes. Can you help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Hi Marty,

I was able to post the image you emailed me.

Below are the steps to insert an image into a post:

1. in the attachments box browse to and select the image on your computer
2. after the image is selected click the upload button
3. after the image is uploaded to insert the image into the post put your cursor where you would like the image to appear in the body of your post then click the "Manage Current Attachments" drop down and select the image you uploaded.
4. agree to the forum rules and click "add reply"

The file size of your image should not be an issue. There is a 2megabyte limit.

Yes. Is that the reason I am having a problem? It seems to be working on this reply.

The issue you described could have been caused by any number of network problems from your computer to our server. For example, from your computer to our server your message/image navigates randomly through many different routers, probably at least 10 - 15 different router hops before reaching our server and it all happens in milliseconds. I have noticed that sometimes adding a satellite connection to all of the hops occasionally creates other issues. It is quite interesting to ponder the thought of the image of your horse traveling 22,300 miles above the equator and back and the image is now in the post above.

The error you received may have been an intermittent network failure. Contact me if you need any additional assistance.

I can see your IP address keeps changing. Sometimes this happens with satellite connections. I have made a small change try posting the ad again.
