Dennis,
I really liked the looks of Kamal. I enjoyed watching him be shown. I went over and looked at him and liked what I seen of him in the stall. He was a real sweetheart. He kept sticking his tongue out and liked his tongue rubbed/scratched.

Kamal is a really nice colt and I wish you all the best with him! I can't wait to see him as he grows up!

I "believe" my Prince Rex is the only SE breeding son of Alidaar in the USA. Rex is out of AK Bint Maarena, a straight Babson mare who is a full sister to Dressage great Serr Maariner. Although Rex is not available to outside mares (with some exceptions), I do have offspring of his available, including the bay 2 year old filly pictured and a couple of excellent riding geldings owned by a client. In addition, I would on-farm lease my mares to be bred to Rex. The photos of Prince Rex in the blue halter were taken in August 2009. The body snapshots were taken 2 weeks ago, at age 20. You can see his complete pedigree and more photos on our website http://www.rapturearabians.com.

Thank you Jerel for this thread!

PWA Nagib Shah ( Ansata Halim Shah x Nasbah ) could easily have just stepped out of a classic German breeding program. He is sired by the incomparable Ansata Halim Shah, the Salon du Cheval Reserve World Champion Stallion who influenced Straight Egyptian horse breeding worldwide, and left an indelible stamp on Germany. PWA Nagib Shah’s dam Nasbah is sired by the beautiful stallion Muqatamm, a stallion that can be credited with passing the strict German Performance Test. Muqatamm is both son of Ghazalah and grandson of Malikah, two of Germany’s most important Ghazal daughters. Nasbah’s dam is a daughter of the prolific and elegant mare Foze, imported into Germany from the Egyptian Agricultural Society by Gestut Moritzberg of Nurnberg. In Authentic Arabian Bloodstock, Judith Forbis describes Foze as “An ideal representative of this [Hadban Enzahi through Shams] classic group. Many Americans tried to buy her from Ahmed Hamza without success.”

PWA Nagib Shah is a substantial, well balanced, very good moving stallion. He has small tight ears and classic Arabian type. He has an especially gentle and confident temperament, yet he is always quick to show off when prompted. To date Nagib has sired over twice as many fillies as colts, and one rare black!

PWA Nagib Shah is one of the last remaining sons of Ansata Halim Shah offered at public stud in the United States. Nagib is CA and SCID clear.

Nagib will be available for the remainder of the 2010 breeding season and then the 2011 breeding season. Nagib's stud fee will be $2,500 if booked before Dec. 31st, 2010. Shipped, cooled semen is available.

Thank all or you who have shared your stallions with us. What we could do to take it to the next level would be for each of you to start a Stallion Thread for you stallion or stallions and tell us things like...
1) full pedigree
2)pictures of ancestors of them that you have available...
3)their foals
4)foals coming.....
5)CA and SCID status if you choose
6)stud fee, live cover, shipped cooled or frozen
7)anything else any of you can imagine what would help yourself promote and showcase your stallion...on your thread/blog about same.......
Jerel
I WOULD ASK EVERYONE PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF ALL WHO POST ABOUT THEIR STALLIONS...... we want this to be a positive experience for people
If someone has a mare in foal to a particular stallion please add on and tell us about your mare, her foals and foal to be etc. as well. This should be a great tool for people to do promotions.

Hello Jerel,
I think this is a great idea as well. I think that having only one stallion presentation at the EE frustrated many that came to see stallions. I have chosen several stallions based on what I have seen at the EE. I believe many breeders have. It's sad that we don't see many of our former stars return the EE so people that have never had an opportunity to see them in the flesh may do so. Your generosity with this inclusion is a welcome and important addition to a forum regarding Straight Egyptians.
It's a great service and I thank you. I enjoyed meeting you at the Event as well. I look forward to more of your innovative ideas. You've kicked it up a notch.
