We have a daughter of *Rasheek out of Aziza Amorah, by Zedann (*Morafic x *Omnia) and out of Aziza Fay Deliah (Nazim Pasha by *Ansata Ibn Halima x Fay Delle by Ibn Fadl). Her name is Jamila Kibriya and she is a 1988 grey Saqlawiyah Jidrana Ibn Sudana by strain (over 99% Egyptian, is Al Khamsa & Blue List). She is for sale if you are interested. biggrin.gif

*Rasheek was sired by Alaa El Din (Nazeer x Kateefa) and out of Zebeda (El Sareei x Galila). Although he sired few foals, his foals have constantly made their owners proud and show off exquisite type and extremely exotic heads. I would be happy to provide photos if you are interested.

Kind regards,
Rebecca

At least one head-shot of Rasheek is in our pedigree database.
I have a body-shot of him and will add it to the databsase soon.

I saw Rasheek in America and thought he was one of the better sons of Alaa El Din with a very refined head and solid confirmation. Ineresting enough, he is a threequarter brother to Shaker El Masri, the sire of El Shaklan (out of the Spanish mare Estopa). Does anyone know if Rasheek was bred to Spanish mares, too?

I wanted to bump this topic back up in case others here would like to comment on the stallion Rasheek...whether it be descendants, if you like/dislilke him, or especially anyone who saw him/knew him in person. I'd be interested to learn more about him smile.gif. Thanks! Angela

I saw him during my stay in the States. At a time I wanntede to see as amny as Alaa El Din sons as possible becaus e I wanted to know why so few of them made a own name in the breeding barn. Alaa El Din was often described as a sire of broodmares and I wanted to see his sons for myself. So I visited quite a few farms and saw Farazdac, Faleh, Rasheek, Nashwan, Soufian, Ramses El Din and I have to admit some of them were amazing horses. Alaa El Din seemed to have sired sons in all shades and colours: Some were athletic, some were ethereal beauties, some were both, others were so so. Rasheek, in my eyes, was a good son of his sire but lacked a bit of class and style. He was shorter legged than I had expected and moved not as good as I had expected. His eyes were quite small, his neck not as shaped as I like it in stallions and quite heavy for an Alaa El Din son. On the positive side he seemed to be very friendly and content. His shoulder was big and slopy, his back short and straight and he had a deep heart girth. Just my own impression though.
