Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I can buy a poster or a chart of the skeleton of the horse? I would also like one showing the outer parts with names too. I saw some of these a while ago but I can't find them in my stored links.

I am looking for the vet school type of poster.

Thanks,

Jessi

Hi,
try the following site, http://www.edugraphics.net/gs4-lifescience/gs434.htm. A quick google search of Equine anatomical charts will take to many sites that allow purchase of veterinarian charts of skeletal, musculature and even specialized charts IE mare, Stallion, feet and legs etc.

Have fun.

Dear Tailflagger,

If you go to www.arabianhorse.org (the Arabian Horse Association site) and click on the "MARKETPLACE" tab. and then scroll to the bottom, they have a wall chart showing the Arabian horse skeleton and named parts available.

It's a good chart (I have the smaller 8x11 reprints to pass out at farm seminars--and I've ordered one to put up in our barn also).

You can also go to the U.S. Pony Club Bookstore. They have charts on almost everything that it is possible to chart ........ external horse parts, skeletal system, muscular system, leg and foot, internal organs, digestive system, endocrine system, nervous system....... and also charts for tack, parts of the saddle and bridle, grooming tools, stable tools, etc.

Go to http://www.ponyclub.org and pull up the "bookstore".
