I haven't seen him in the flesh, but any thoughts and opinions on him both as a horse and as a sire?

Thanks

Dear Mike

Mrs Tauschke, El thay Arabian,Germany always bred some truly good horses.
I visited her farm some time ago and was impressed. Not only this, she tests her georgeous stallions, has raced some successfully and loves the horses, is like one of us. She also never travelled on "Arrogance lane", far from it. A very humble great Lady she is.. Friends of mine, Karsten and Sabrina Scherling owned some of her breeding , rode them every day through and over anything and just loved them. there is nothing more wonderful to me than having breeders who truly love their horses, breed good horses and not dollar bills. Her horses have always been in demand.

His exotic daughter Maida Bint Bint Mohssen was sold to Al Rayyan Farm / Qatar but her daughter by Teymur B is still in Germany , she is lovely ....

El Thay Shah Mabrouk is a very tall and substantial horse with exqusite, really exquisite movement.
At the same time he has a dry and refined face, good length of neck, a god topline, slopy shoulders,
and solid legs. He won the international Asil Cup as well as the Egyptian Event Europe and some
other shows in Germany in his younger years.
Sadly he never was used to his full potential; he surely is one of those hidden treasures.
His son Ibn Shah Mabrouk (pictured) was awarded a gold premium at the German Stallion Show.

Hi everybody!!!

I am not sure, but I will ask some friends here in Chile about El Thay Shah Mabrouk, because I think he is the head stallion in Mr Aldunate Stud in Chile. I am not sure... I will tell you tomorrow...

Have a nice day

gbfahne.gif Hi Mike, Going back to almost my first posting where I took issue with SE photographs i.e lots of photos taken of horses standing bushes etc. wink.gif Well I have tried to take some of Goudah in the fashionable way blink.gif but it's either the horse in focus or the bush blink.gif blink.gif

Yes Oliver I agree, I saw this magnificent stallion at the Ee in Germany a few years ago and could not take my eyes off him. He has the movement I adore so much, and is extremely beautiful as well as a substancial horse with excellent conformation, legs.
Actually one of the finest stallions I have seen in Germany I cant forget.

Ibn Shah Mabrouk is a grandson of Bushra, my foundation mare. Bushra's dam (Marah) was / is noted for passing on her excellent legs, and was "the horse that everybody wanted to ride".
I have two daughters and a son from Bushra, and the oldest daughter is my all time favorite riding horse. Very smooth and responsive, although she has no use for arena work and lets you know, in no uncertain terms that she is only doing it to please you and would far sooner be out chasing cows or something.
