Does anybody ever heard about the dispersal sale of Haras Carol (Brazil)?

wow, hadn't heard.

If you wish to know more on the Dreams Auction, this it´s the link. There will be very good horses, like for example a Jamill´s daugther, AF Vita.

I believe that it´s an annual sale. I don´t believe that it´s a complete liquidation.
Somebody knows something on the stallion Bernini?

i've been receiving emails over the last two to three weeks of their sale....i believe they termed it as a dispersal sale.

It will be in fact a dispersal sale. All of Ailton Braga's horses will be sold, with the exception of a few mares that are too old or have reproductive or health problems and a couple that Ailton is keeping for himself. The stallions are not going to be auctioned, possibly sold by private treaty, Bernini included.

Ailton always bred very good horses and owned some beutiful ones as Perlie Mae, Mystyk Image, among others.

The Jamilll daughter is NOT AF Vita. It is AF FA Halima (out of *Bint Hamda Halima [*Ansata Ibn Halima x *JKB Hamda {YOSREIA TAIL FEMALE}). AF Vita has Egyptian lines in her pedigree but she is not a straight Egyptian mare.

Wow! I'm actually very surprised to hear about this. Should be a great opportunity for people to aquire some great stock though. I've always admired these horses and this program.

It was a big surprise for me to know about this dispersal sale. I noticed Mr. Ailton Braga divorced last year but I tought they had an agreement to split the horses. I admire a lot Giorgio Carol, the chestnut stallion included on the sale. He trots a lot and uses his long neck when movement. For me is one of the best JK Amadeus sons if not the best.

How far is Avare from Sao Paulo?

Avare is around 2 hours driving from Sao Paulo. The city has nice hotels and the auction will happen during the International Show of Avare (the second most important show in Brazil) and the Brazilian Breeders´Cup.

I just received the video of the sale. There are some very nice mares, with a lot of type, like CN Neville and AF Fa Halima.

Chelsea K is for me, by far, the best lot. Her mother was a beautiful mare (3 times National Champion in Brazil).

For those who are wanting to know more about the Jamilll daughter at the sale: AF Fa Halima is in a very good shape. I saw her last Friday. She produced until now 8 foals (7 fillies and one colt) registered. The last one was born in Oct. 2001. She was not bred since then due the divorce process of the owners.

Juliano stands at Haras Fortaleza, owned by Dr. Faria. His dam Delta Venus also belongs to Dr. Faria but lives at Arabians Ltd. in the US.

In regards to auctions, did you see that the midcrest.com auction is up and going. They have two dtrs of the super great producing mare, Cometara up for sale! I was surprised!

AF Fa Halima did not sell. There were no bids at her reserve price (I am nor sure it was US $ 5,000 or 10,000) and she went back to Haras Carol.

Bernini Carol is still with Ailton Braga, he is by Parys el Jamaal and out of a Bey Shah daughter.
Ailton did disperse most of his herd some years ago, but he´s breeding again as far as I know.

Juliano belongs to Haras Fortaleza in São Paulo Brazil ( Mr. Aloysio Faria ) as well as his maternal brother Nesperado ( by Thee Desperado). I´m not sure whether or not Delta Venus and which of her offspring are still alive.
