No, he wasn't completely black.

He had a star, white socks on both hind and right foreleg, and white left fore fetlock.

She is full of the joys of Spring! She is currently in the field next to the road and is enjoying showing off to everyone who passes by! Hope your girls are well too!

Cass Ole' had an extensive show career here in Texas prior to his movie star career. He carried his young rider to numerous championships in western pleasure and sidesaddle and was known for his easy going wonderful temperment. While not a "classic" looking Arabian, he had a great body, and was very trainable.
He was so laid back, that his rider had to constantly nudge him with spurs to keep him going in the ring!

Not only that his young owner was in a terrible accident, and took a long time to recover. Cass was always extremely careful whenever carrying her. I saw Cass at an exhibition. Afterwards, he was almost completely covered in little kids, walking alongside while patting his rump, etc. as he was brought back to his stall. He was very quiet, which is unusual right after giving a show.
Cass Ole's sire Al-Marah Cassanova is by Rapture who is a son of *Raffles and out of Rafla, also by *Raffles. While not the extreme show ring type, Cass is an excellent example of the CMK horse who can do, and will carry his rider safely.
