Hallo Frau Schweiher,

El Ahhim Shah has got a very beautiful head, and his foals too (I think of Nadirah, for example).
I can't really imagine that his mother looked like that blink.gif But anyway, I think her head isn't that bad, and if she didn't pass it on to her children...
Are there any photos of other foals from Athea?

... oh yes - indeed - he is one of my favorites and a good example for the observation that the not so beautiful broodmares sometimes produce the most beautiful foals. Some genes seem to like jumping over one or two generations. biggrin.gif

I just realized that there are some new photos of El Ahhim Shah on his owners web site. I think they look great. I hadn't seen many nice headshots from him in the past, the one int the portrait section was (in my opinion)the best photo on the web, but didn't really show his beautiful head!
Now, there are some very nice portraits online, and more photos of his offspring, too. I like Diyaa (??complicate name blink.gif ) so much!! rolleyes.gif She looks gorgeous! smile.gif

I was extremely impressed with some of his get. Though not completely mi "ideal" of a horse he is a very good sire. Did you saw his daughter Nadirah El Shah (ex AK Nawaal)? You will melt away!!!!
Guest_guest
No, I haven't sad.gif .
Unfotunatly, I only know her from photos...
But I saw both of her parents and must say that both are more than impressive, too rolleyes.gif !!!

... and again there are fascinating new pics of El Ahhim Shah and some of his get on Authentic Egyptian Arabians Website. I saw some of his daughters at his owners place at the beginning of this year and was deeply impressed by their refined type, overall harmonic and balanced bodies and exquisite movements. wub.gif

@ Tashwai

... there is a pic of Kawmia (Anter x Nazeera), a full-sister of Bint Nazeera, in the blue bible, p. 250. Are there really no pics of Bint Bint Nazeera and her dam out there??? unsure.gif

Click to view attachmentI was researching old threads and came across this one. I don't know if anyone is still interested, but a friend of mine gave me this picture of Bint Bint Nazeera. I have two granddaughters of this mare. I hope it is alright I posted it. It appeared in May 1981 Arabian Horse World magazine. The photo is by Macii? (I hope that's right.) I have not seen a photo of 13 Bint Nazeera.

best regards,
Deb
