Arabian Stud Europe
I have tried to find a Marwan son in Europe, but I didnt succeed yet.
Does anyone know a son of his here in Europe?
Also looking for a filly by him for sale.
On the website it says that Marwans breeding book is closed as of 2005. It seems the website is not updated for a long time. Can anyone confirm?

Best wishes and thanks in advance,

Talitha

Seems strange to me, as I know of a Belgian person who is breeding with frozen semen of Marwan this year...

As of sons of Marwan standing in Europe, I like to add

Abha Marmaris ° 2003 out of Abha Harimi (El Perfecto) owned by Salvador Perez (Spain)

There are other Marwan al Shaqab sons in Europe (like Keyer Soze), but only aged 2 at the moment.

At the website of Zyada Arabians they also have a 2005 colt by Marwan. The website hasn't been updated for a while so I don't know if he's still there.

I'm not sure if his book is closed or not for this year, but his stud was increased to $8,000 USD in 2006, so I'm sure that cut down on the number of people buying breedings to him.

P.S. - I have a Marwan colt for sale that you could bring to Europe. wink.gif His dam is a Magic Dream daughter out of a Bey Shah daughter.

Bluebell Arabians
Hallo Talitha and everybody else, the colt Pawik El Marwan just arrived here at Bluebell Arabians for the 2007 showseason. He is a two year old, dark bay, interesting horse. His dam is the straight Polish Pepeszka (Balon x Perla). Pawik is bred and owned by Mr. Bernard v.d. Putte from Belgium.

Best wishes, Erik.

Try WH Kaneko at Shah Arabians in France. This young stallion was bred by the famous Wendall Hansen (WH Justice, etc...), and just began breeding in France this year. So far the results are pretty amazing. Then again look at this horse and hos pedigree. Check out the website for photos...

-------------------------------------------------------------

WH Kaneko MS was born in 2006 at Wendall Hansen’s farm, a breeder with many successes to his name, having bred WH Justice (by Magnum Psyche) and WH Patriot ( by Marwan Al Shaqab ), Reserve Champion at both Scottsdale and at the U.S.A Nationals.

From Marwan Al Shaqab his sire and Gazal Al Shaqab his grand sire he has inherited “type” essential to the Arabian horse as can be seen by the phenomenal successes of his progenitors in the show ring.

From the internationally famous Bey Shah with his undeniable worldwide impact he has inherited “style and show attitude” and an exceptional “efficient and fluid movement”.

From his illustrious ancestor the immortal Bask, recognised as the best stallion ever imported to the U.S.A.( show and sport ) he has inherited structure, “conformation”, substance, correct solid legs” and again a powerful trot.

All who have seen Kaneko have been impressed by this young stallion, proud, and snorting, impressively tall for his age, with his thin shiny coat and impressive attitude. As to his character, he is alert, attentive, playful, affectionate, and without any trace of vice.

There are plenty of Marwan sons in Europe and hundreds for sale in the US!
His sire Gazal al Saqab is much better imo.
Why don´t you use a polish Gazal son - then you know your´e using quality.

Beduin Arabians in Denmark, has Verify. I saw him few weeks ago, and he is actually developing quite nice, and looks better in reality. And he has a remarkable neck. smile.gif I believe he will be found in the showarena this year, several places in Europe.
