[I]Hello,
All the wonderful information regarding Toota and Sabreen have urged me to make a request myself. My friend Debbie who has recently purchased Sabreen from Larry and Cindy is thrilled to own her and we all look forward to a wonderful foal by Amir next year.

I recently purchased the Talmaal daughter Sa maala who is out of Sameera by Morafic. She is an absolutely beautiful mare with large soft eyes, huge cheek, long hooky neck and ever so level croup. I would love to learn anything anyone could share about Talmaal and Samaala or Sameera for that matter (I do know that Sameera was bred to Ruminaja Ali and produced a filly). I have searched for info on Talmaal but have been unable to find much.

Larry has seen Talmaal at the MB sale and said he was very beautiful. Brenda Shuettpelz was kind enough to make a copy of a video of them for me from an older Kline Arabians tape.

Thank you, Lorie

Thanks for the fotos Marianella. I have not seen that one of Talmaal before. I have seen the one of MB Talmaar. I believe that is the foto they used for the Arabian Horse World magazine Most Classic competition which MB Talmaar won. He is stunning! Brenda Shuettpelz has been using him on some of her mares. I saw one of his daughters and she was just gorgeous! Lovely dished head with a huge eye.

I consider myself very lucky to have acquired Sa Maala. I tried to attach a foto we got last week of Maala but for some reason it was not accepted. It is a jpg. so am not sure why it wouldn't work.

Thanks again, Lorie

Dear Lorie,

My congratulations by your mare! I saw a Sa Maala´s daugther.
Talmaar is huge!! Wooooowwww
I hope that another friend of forum helps you with more data.
I hope to see some photo of Sa Maala.
Good luck!

Hi Marianella,
Did you say you have seen one of Sa Maala's daughters?

Hi Lorie,

Did you buy SA Maala from the Addis sale in Wisconsin. You are right she is a very pretty mare, one which we were interested in buying. One of her daughters by HF El Cid also sold at that auction.
She should produce beautiful babies for you smile.gif
hlsmaripa
Dear Lori,

her name´s Amiri Samaala (HF El Cid x SA Maala by Talmaal).
Owned by Winddanseur Arabians
Other Talmaal´s daugthers,

EAI Talsolima ( x BF Bint Solima)
MB Talmany ( x Tammany NF)
EAI Talraffaa ( x Rafaalaa)

Best Regards,

Marianella

Yes, I bought Sa Maala at the Addis auction. I went there to find the best mare (though all of Linda's horses were beautiful!) not the best pedigree and I believe I got both!) Maala is more beautiful than I realized at the auction. She is very sweet and loves affection and is always the first to come to the gate. Her daughter Amiri was lovely also.

I am looking for a special stallion to breed to next spring. One that will compliment Maala as she will the stallion. I must say I am very proud to own her and love her more than I thought I could.

Any fotos of any of her offspring would be appreciated.

Thanks for the imput, Lorie

Thanks again Marianella for all the information. Where did you see Amiri Samaala? Was it on the Windanceur website? Where can I see Sa Maala's sisters?

Hi guys,
Well, small world! Pat G. here from Point-O-View. You can add yet another to the list of "Talmaal" get. I own a beautiful "97" model daughter of his out of an Ibn Dalul Daughter who is out of an Al Metrabbi daughter who tails to Gamila. She is first generation pure in the strain H.I. Of all of our mares this gal has wings on her heels!! She has the most incredible movement and tail carriage that I have ever seen, even in a stallion! We have to get her signed up for a liberty class one of these days. The only drawback to this prospect is that she also has sailed over a five foot chain link fence on more than one occcasion!! God willing she is in foal to our friends' Ruminaja Ali son who is out of a Prince Ibn Shaikh daughter who tails to * Thawra (Sultan / Rawayeh-EAO).
Enough about us, tell us more about your girl. where are you? I would love to see her. I will find some pictures and post them soon. Sincerely, Pat - Point-O-View Farm Arabians
Lisa Marie
Hello again,
So sorry, I neglected to tell you the mare's name. It is EAI Dalmaala, foaled April 25 1997, out of MB Dalasara. Pat G.

Lorelei,
You must save the file to documents. Reopen and manipulate the image size then resave the new size and it should be accepted for this forum. Good Luck, I have seen her foto and know it will be enjoyed by all. Good luck finding a special stallion to breed her too !!!!

Thank you Debbie for your suggestion. It appears you have some computer savvy. I have tried your suggestion but I am still getting an error message that it won't work because it can not upload that kind of file. It is just a jpg. so I will have to work with it some more to discover what else could be wrong. Perhaps the type of file is the problem.

I suppose you speak of the foto we did here just last week. We did get some good ones thanks to your expertise at handling. I look forward to our session today with your colt that gorgeous Jabez SA (Al Baraki x Sabia Baraka).

I look forward to it!

I hat the good fortune to see Talmaal at one of my trips to the States.
I never saw his maternal grandsire Talal but to judge from the photos
Talmaal resembled him a lot. Especially the head and neck section
appeared very similar. Talmaal had extremely beautiful big black eyes,
set low and very prominent. He had enough frame and long legs
(in opposite to Talal); this is something inherited from his beautiful
sire Amaal, who in my opinion had a different head than Talmaal
and was "more stallion" in attitude and presence. When running
free Talmaal was very animated and spirited and showed fairly good
trot.
I never ever saw a better Amaal son than Talmaal. Regretfully I have
to admit I never saw a foal by Talmaal.
Eden
Hi Pat,
Great news that you have one of Samaala's sisters. I look forward to seeing some fotos of her. Maala is just gorgeous, I'm working on getting her foto on here for eveyone to see in between the rest of it all. She is 15.1, her head... well her head is amazing! Hugh eye, huge cheek, pretty, just so pretty, long hooky neck set high, level croup (which I love!) I could go on and on. She is very typey and oh so sweet as could be. Always the first to come to you, loves to snuggle. She hasn't jumped any fences yet though. My "Salon" (AK Khazar x Ruminaja Ali daughter) is famous for that here. I'll get working on the fotos soon.

We are in upstate NY about an hour and 15 min. southwest of Albany/45 min. east of Catskill, NY. Visitors always welcome! Where are you?

Oliver,
Thank you for your information re. Talmaal. I have heard wonderful things about him from all that have seen him. I have only seen three fotos of him (one in the SE reference books) but I would have to agree, he was stunningly beautiful and apparently reproduced the same. I was not aware until I acquired Samaala how significant this line was or how beautiful. Does he have any other sons besides MB Talmaar? Are you aware of any show accomplishments??

Thank you,
Lorie

Oliver
No, sorry - I don't know anything about shows accomplishments
or his other get. Sadly, at the beginning Talmaal stood in the
shadow of other stallions at Kline as he used to lease a stallion
from Gleannloch Farms (like Ibn Morafic) to use them instead
of Talmaal who was closely related to most of his mares.

Oh, those Talmaal eyes.... biggrin.gif
Eden
Hello,
I believe Talmaal eventually became head sire at Kline arabians. I have discovered that he sired many fillies but to my knowledge only one colt, the AHT Most Classic winner MB Talmaar who is pictured above.

I am still unaware of any show accomplishments of Talmaal but with the beauty, type and correctness he passed on I suppose it doesn't matter!

Sorry about the duplicate post. I did finally get the picture of Sa Maala on though. I can't believe sometimes how God could make such a beautiful and oh so gentle creature.

Hello Pat,
Were you ever able to find a foto of your Talmaal daughter?

Dear Lorie,
Please forgive my tardiness in answering your post. I have not had a spare minute to even look for a photograph of "Dolly". I'm simply flat out trying to arrange for my impending absense of one week when we go to the Ansata seminar. This place just isn't designed to opperate without me. I will do my best to accomplish this task as soon as I return. Pat

This is another Talmaal daughter: EAI Talsolima (Talmaal x BF Bint Solima). She is a lovely mare with a great temperament and really nice movement. Unfortunately she slipped her foal this year, so we have yet to produce from her to date. She will be re-bred in 2004 and hopefully will maintain the pregnancy. best regards.
Eden
Hello Etaya,
Thanks for sharing the picture of EAI Talsolima. So sorry to hear about your loss. I wish you the best with her next breeding. We are so lucky to have the opportunity to have such beautiful and typey Arabians grace our lives.

Lorie

Hi Pat,
It's completely understandable that you don't have time to search for a foto. I know I would put that aside to get things together for the seminar myself. Have a great time there. Wish I was going!

Eden,
The mare you mentioned out of the *Morafic daughter Sameera sired by Ruminaja Ali has been listed available for Sale or Lease with our new service. If you would like further information on her I would be glad to forward it to you. She is an absolutely stunning mare in person and would be a great asset to any breeding program.

You may email me privately for further information on her.

Sandi,
What is your new service? Do you have a website?
Sandi
We will soon be publicly offering a new Sales and Marketing service geared toward the Arabian Horse community. Right now I am still in the process of preparation what all services will be offered, contractual agreements, service fees ect and of course the development of a web site. WHEW!!! Needless to say the undertaking of this venture has taken much more of my time than first anticipated. Especially since I accepted some initial clients. For now I am trying not over extend myself in additional commitments until the details of the service structure can be completed. At some time within (hopefully) the near future I will be more than happy to list our new web site, service structure and fees associated.
Thank you for your interest, I will keep all posted on our development.

Bumping this up due to there being SO few Straight Egyptian Talmaal daughter's - Eden are you still out there??? Anyone have datasource so we can see if this mare of hers is still with her and producing?

***Update*** for the family farm, finally "Dolly" had a SE foal and we are so very pleased. We tried for 5 years with this mare and I believe it was human error on all our parts (missing or too much of a "good thing" and such...). We tried with our close friends SE Ruminaja Ali son for a bit then with his SE son whom my mother owns .We kept things simple / stupid and low and behold we now have POV Assad Al Jabal (AHA pending) a phenomenal moving 09 grey colt that will excell in the correct hands. I am posting candid shots of him all natural I don't believe in doing the slicked up greasy clipped shots this is him in real life. Enjoy everyone he is one truely special colt and is offered.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.

This is an old topic But I want to see is Lorie is still around...???

SO for those that have datasource please look up this mare of Edens for me, I want to know where she is please and Thank You. smile.gif

Kline Arabians
Lorie - I was Jim Kline's assistant during the 1980's. I was the one that put together the first Kline Arabians Open Barn Presentation from 1987 that it sounds like you got your hands on.

I was at the ranch when Talmaal was a young stallion there and was one of the girls that named Samaala. Don't know how that empty space got in there between the "a" and the "m" - we didn't put it in. Hmmmm.

I am putting together a documentary on Mr. Kline and the Kline Arabians. I would be happy to send you a copy when it is finished. I look to being done in early to mid 2010. Just let me know where to send it, and I will make sure you get a copy.

Happy Holidays!!!!!

Would love to see this video as well, please PM me more details.

Also PLEASE can someone find EDEN ( this topic starter she has a Talmaal daughter)? Did she fall off the planet? Want to know if she is still around HELP please from those with datasource. Thanks, smile.gif

Hi Again,

I want to know where Eden is, never did get an answer...? Learned about a few of her mares foals( believe the mare had two daughters by decent stallions) but nothing more about the mare herself and if she's still alive and in production?

POV Assad Al Jabal our Talmaal daughters SE colt is maturing so very well. He is IMHO nicer than his sire and daddy is pretty freaking awesome. This now yearling colt has stellar movement and such show attitude and spirit. Yeah I'm beating my own drum but I love this colt.

We rebred our Talmaal daughter for a full sibling and we are praying for a filly. The sire is a Ruminja Ali and Safeen grandson, very classic breeding.

So this is a call to any and all out there , please tell us more about your Talmaal bred bloodstock. I know Jenn at Etaya has a Talmaal daughter however she hasn't had a foal out of her as of yet ( shame...) from what she has told me. Lost Angel has MB Talmaar and some really beautiful SE daughter's by him.

Thanks, Lisa

P.S. Pat G. my mom owns "Dolly", what is hers is mine. wink.gif My mom and I have a good working relationship.

Jeff's current plan is to move to Uruguay sometime in the first half of 2011. Last I heard from him he is working on putting together an open house and getting videos and photos done of the ones he has for sale.

We were not at the sale, but we purchased some of the sale horses from Gil. One was Jabarut, a beautiful Dalul daughter. We bred her to Talmaal before we brought her home. This gave us RT Talul. He is probably one of the most gentle stallions I have ever been around. We also had Bint Talal for awhile.
