Hi,
I am looking for information about the Grey Egyptian mare; Fathaya (Ibn Farhan x Saema) AHR 14325 and about her bloodlines. I understand that these horses are not recognized by the Al Khamsa organization. Can someone tell me why?
Thanks you in advance,
Rona

Hi Rona,
I am also researching those bloodlines. I haven't been able to see pictures yet.
I would love to see some if you have any.

Saema is acceptable. Al Khamsa has chosen to treat Ibn Farhan as they did to Nasralla. There was a detailed conversation on Ibn Farhan on the other forum that crashed.

I have a great grandson of Ibn Farhan and I am hoping that I can get some pictures of him and maybe Fadel. Does anyone know if Rasmoniet RSI is Al Khamsa.

Hi Bonnie,
I have a picture of Fadell (from judith Forbis book). I will try to post it. If it doesn't work, I will e-mail it to you.

What a pity! I understood that Fathaya is SE - is that correct? I only came across this mare recently with a stallion imported to Germany being inbred to this mare on his dam's side. Fathayas ancestry is quite unusual. I would like to read further comments on it and maybe someone could briefly sum up the Al Khamsa position on Ibn Farhan.
