Whoops - might be competelty the wrong horse???!!!!

Shaikh Al Kuran is not out of Karimda, his dam is AK Raiyeh an The Egyptian Prince daughter. He was exported to Europe around 1995.
He also has approximately 80 foals to date.

Shaikh al Kuran has been Leading Sire here in the UK on many, many occasions.

He belongs to the Woodward family of High Tor Arabians in Lancashire, UK, where he is very much loved! Unfortunately, they do not have a website.

As far as I am aware he is still alive; he certainly was until recently and I am sure I would have heard if he wasn't. He is a tall stallion, must be nearly 16 hands, and very imposing. He has sired some very nice foals.

I just noticed this thread about one of my very favourite UK based SE stallions Shaikh Al Kuran who celebrated his 21st birthday on 7th June.

Unfortunately I cannot post a photo of Kuran, but I have his Son TCA Shaikh Al Damaran here at Templar Croft Arabians.

Damaran is now a six year old home bred boy and has the sweetest temperament I have ever personally witnessed in such a young stallion.

His Dam is HT Damietta who is also resident here at Templar Croft.

Shaikh Al Kuran is 21 and looks well . I have an SE daughter of his HT Sonborana out of Imperial Sonboleen. Also an SE grand daughter of his HG BInt Za Zu out of Sonborana
Photo shows Sonborana with an SE daughter from a few years ago by Dahmraks Shah Mailas who was exported to the middle east.
