Hello Forum,

Who can tell me how I can contact the owners of the black stallion Coaltown
I think he is standing in Italy smile.gif
Daniela
Coaltown is owned by a partnership. I don't know all the partners of the partnership, just one.
His name is Moschini Renzo and he lives near Pistoia, in Italy. You can ask him for further information.
I think Coaltown is still at his farm.
Here is his web site:

http://www.cavalliarabi.it/homepage.htm

The site is in Italian, but you can click on "Stalloni" for Coaltown's photos and pedigree and on "Contatti" for the farm address, telephone number and e-mail.

Hope this helps.

Bye,

Daniela Frigato

Daniela many thanks for your help tongue.gif

That's a nice stallion, never heard of him before. Does he have any offspring you guys know?
Guest_Fran
is there a body picture of him somewhere. all i saw on the website was head pictures. maybe, i didn't look in the right place?
StarVision
I'd like to see a body shot too- all I could find was head shots as well. He looks like a very pretty stallion. I'm not posative, but from the pedigree it looks like he is a full brother to The Minstril...

Natalie
Guest_Fran
i thought it looked like the same pedigree as well. interesting.
StarVision
I agree. smile.gif A while ago, there was a piece on The Minstril in Arabian Horse World and it had an ad for I believe a Coaltown daughter that was in foal to The Minstril. If they are full brothers, I sure would be curious about what that foal was like.

Natalie
hrnarabians
Yes, Coaltown is a full brother to The Minstril...there was a thread on another forum quite a while back about him vs. his brother.....
Stephanie
I have 2 pictures at home of Coaltown, but no full bodyshots either. They don't seem to be floating around too much. I saw him a couple of times in the showring quite some time ago, but he never really impressed me that much. There must be some offspring somewhere, but again I haven't seen them around Europe. I'll post my pictures later on tonight.

Hi,

A friend of mine here in Spain had a good looking black son of coaltown, his name was M.Imir 25/04/98.
he had a bad bout of colic and died within two days, I have two full body photos of him, if I can get access to a scaner I will post them.
PS his dam was Bint Shammara SSB It-6647.

Hallo to everybody.

I'm sorry for my english. I got involved in your discussion since I have a filly of coaltown.
I'm very proud of her and the press wrote she is for sure between the best fillies of him.
I know very well Coaltown as well.I think he is still the best S.E. black stallion never imported in Italy so far.Unfortunately, like many black stallions,he was overbookingand was given to "everybody"
because of his colour, with often mediocre results.
I try to send you a pictures of my lack mare.

ciao,
manu

I am continually disappointed in the pictures I see of Coaltown, but I must tell you, I saw him on the Arabians Ltd. video many years ago. He was tacked on to the end of the Minstril video. Have to tell you, The Minstril just didn't get my attention, but Coaltown sure did. He was beautiful and with incredible presence. I could NOT understand why someone with such a magnificent young stallion would put their resources into the older brother who, to me, just seemed a lot less spectacular. My opinion only, not disrespect intended to The Minstril, but kudos to Coaltown. Would sure like to see some good (natural) pictures of him. He doesn't need the fancy poses!

Cristian,

Beautiful foals!! Do you have a website?

I bred my foundation mare Bint Gasaara to Coaltown before he left the US. The result, a beautiful 15.3hh mare with bold movement and a temperment to die for. Gasaara Moniet resides now in North Carolina. We have very few offspring of Coaltown in the US. He's a wonderful stallion and a great sire.

Manu, Galila is simply beautiful - my congratulations. Also thanks Cristian for posting the photo of the four Coaltown mares taken together - very interesting picture. Jani - I have E Mailed you reference photos of Coaltown which perhaps you could share with me. I have also contacted your friend Jane Bachmann about the possibility of viewing her Coaltown video. I am extremely interested in obtaining information and / or photos of Coaltown. Also, can someone confirm who owns Afta Midnight - really nice photos Jani! My E Mail address is 'ericbrandie@aol.com' Thank you all and kind regards, Dot Brandie. Templar Croft Arabians, Scotland.

Hi Susan, Interested to hear that you have Bint Gasaara. Could you tell me how tall she is? My SE show mare HT Damietta 's Dam is CH Bint Gasaara. Her Sire is Prince Al Morafic. "Dammie" is a substantial mare, with stunning movement and an absolutely superb temperament also. She has won just about all there is to win on the U.K. show circuit and has produced two fabulous foals for me. I,ve tried to attach a photo of her. Kind Regards, Dot Brandie. Templar Croft Arabians, Scotland.

Hi Everyone....I just stumbled across this site and was reading about Coaltown. Dot Brandie at Templar Croft Arabians in Scotland was asking who owns Afta Midnight.

Well............I do.

I purchased her late last year. She is a terrific girl. And she really looks like Coaltown with that chisled head of hers.

Since she is such a rare girl here in the US....I want to be very careful whom I use as a stud for her.

Any suggestions?.............

Best regards to all.
