Hi to all!
There are a lot of successful Sinan children and grand-children around but unfortunately they are not SE. Are there any proven Sinan sons and daughters around in Europe? I can only think of Mishaal HP and there is Kamsin Rodan who was leased to Israel. Are there any offsprings yet? Any other sons? There must be more.
I welcome any information, especially photos wink.gif

In Belgium, we have JK Nasser who is by Sinan out of MB Mindirah, straight egyptian black mare. Nasser is owned by John Ostervinck

Dear Nancy,

Unfortunatly JK Nasser has passed away a few weeks a go. A big shame as he was an exceptional type stallion, maybe the best headed Sinan son I have seen.

Bart.

Hi Bart,
Did I understand it well? ...That JK Nasser passed away ...a few weeks ago?
I'm from Belgium, we have offspring of Nasser and it's the first time I hear that something happened to him. Do you know what happened?

Benoit

Dear Bart,

Are you sure of the passing away of Jk Nasser?!
I liked this stallion very much! Not only his 'looks' (he did look great), but also his gentle character! It is such a shame of such a great horse passing away! He was only 7 years old! I also would like to know what happened, (if possible)!
I saw him having trouble with breathing during the 'Arabian Diamond Trophy' (this was because of the injection : he was enjured before and had to be stitched!), and I was so worried about him! I really can't believe my ears!
I'm so sorry for his owners/trainers/grooms sad.gif ! Take care!

Dear Nancy,

do you know which stallions are at stud at the Oostervink-farm? I saw JK Fuad in Tilburg this year and liked him for his very refined type. He is by Maydan-Madheen out of MB Mindirah - intelligently linebred to the Madheen blood. I think he got a gold premium at the Belgium stallion licensing show recently.
Sigrid
I was asking myself the same question : JK Nasser was injured to the head end of August.... and was having difficulties afterwards... was his very early passing due to this accident ?

(pictured below : JK Nasser at the Diamond Cup show, end of August 2003)
Sigrid
Daniel,

Yes, JK Fouad obtained a first premium at the stallion licensing, and is still owned by the Oostervink family

The Oostervink family bred some interesting stallions in the last years, but didn't keep them all (who would ?)

Of stallions they still own, I can think of JK ANTARIS, born 1997, by Orayan out of Amurath Grey Dawn (by Makhsous)... if not sold in the meantime.

I think they also still own JK Conquestn a Echscaliber son out of thr Spark daughter SS Cleopatra, not sure if he's been sold, as that info is some years old.

JK Omar, a son of JK Nasser out of MB Taliqaa (Talmaal)born in 2002 is still owned by the Oostervink family.

Another - and very intresting- stallion bred by the Oostervinks is JK Catalyst (PR Krystl Prince out of Victoria II HPS, now owned by Beverly Ibrahim... this horse - altough not egyptian- is a real joy to see.
frederik
yes bart is right, it was a big loss for the Oostervinck family and we want to condolence them with their loss

to Dr Daniel Wigger: Oostervinck is still owning JK Fouad (Maydan Madheen x MB Mindirah US) who will have his first breeding season next year. He changed a lot since Tilburg and is maturing in a nice stallion

The loss of JK Nasser was even more hard so as they had lost two weeks before Jk Antaris due to a broken hind leg at the training center he was stabled. Nasser had a sudden death due to a heart attack comming out of it's pasture.

We all feel devastated for the Oostervink family, I sincerely hope they will recover from their loss of these great stallions. Especially now they just bought a great new farm to house their hobby at. I wish them and their stable manager Hendrick all the best of luck and strenght.

Jk Fouad is still there and turning out to be a great young stallion.

Thank you, Bart, this is what I wanted to hear. Although in Tilburg he was not shown and placed according to his quality I liked him very much and thought to be alone with it until I recently read about him having got a first premium at the Belgium stallion licensing show. So I obviously saw the right things about the right horse in Tilburg! wink.gif

That's a tragic loss. There don't seem to be many SE Sinan sons around.
Does anyone have pics of SE Sinan grandget? Would really be interested in.

What terrible news!!! Nasser was a beautyfull stallion, all my sentiments are for the Ostervinck family as well as the trainer and all the crew who took care of Antaris and Nasser.

I saw Fouad at the stallion licence and he's a very nice stallion

Greetings

Hi,

I've found Mishaal HP °96 in almanach 3 published in 2001. He's an Ansata Sinan son out of Mesoudah M. The owner at that time was Horst Preuss, who lives in Hörden {Germany}.
We have a daughter of JK Nasser ,who's quite nice. I already posted a few photo's of her and her mother in this forum. If you click on search and then you look on my username to find the posts which I wrote.
If you don't find it I can send some by e-mail if you like. I don't want to post twice the same pic on this forum .
Best regards,

Benoit

We have a very nice Sinan SE son,but he is not in Europe! However I am toying with the idea of sending him there sometime. He was not keen on being handled much when we got him and taking him to Cairo last month was a sort of trial run to see if it upset him. Happily he was ok and seems to be relaxing more about everyday life! Alia

Hello Hendrik,

thank you for the information....even if it is very sad.

I only want to have a look on him because of his mother, which I really like !

Does anybody know where Ansata Sinan is? I've several explanations like he is in Swiss, another says he is in the Middle East, and another says he is at Ansata??? Does anybody know for sure where he is?
Oliver, most of the time you are very well informed, do you know???
Thanks in advance
Nancy P
I'm not Oliver, but I'm pretty sure Ansata Sinan is in Mena, Arkansas (though not at Ansata). Oliver?

Nancy P.
Jonas S.
I dont know where he is but on this side on PEDIGREES the owner is Vera Stössel-Vocka and she has a stud in the swiss and a stud in spain!!!
Cameron
Ansata Sinan was sold to Vera Stoessel-Vocka in 1992. Ansata Sinan was back in Ansata's possession in 1999 and then sold back Veruska Arabians-Vera Stoessel-Vocka in 2000. I believe Sinan is still at Veruska Arabians in Switzerland???

He is in Mena,Arkansas. We have a client with 2 mares being bred to him via live cover.
Stephanie
Hi,

Do a search here on the discussion forum on Ansata Sinan. Several people have been looking for this boy before and some people actually can help in contacting the owner, who does live in Mena, Arkansas these days.

Greetz,
Stephanie
Oliver
Yes, as far as I know he is still in Arkansas, however, not at Ansata.
ELAcrisi
Vera Stössel-Vocka is devorced, Veruska Arabians moved to Arkansas, her ex husband is still with his horses in Spain.
Oliver
Yes, but not with Sinan and the black Mehanna son -
don't remember his name. Both are in Arkansas.
bartvb
His name was Sheitan UP or UP Sheitan or something! Brrr scary name that is!

Yes, Peter Stoessel has the farm in Spain now and is still breeding Arabian horses (Farm named Aqir Arabians), in fact he has some excellent straight egyptian horses left under witch Zandai Nefisa by Ansata Omar Halim and a stallion called Zandai Aqir also by Ansata Omar Halim. Further he has Egyptian Rabia by Ruminaja Ali, nice mare and excellent producer and one Sinan daughter I believe out of a Kaisoon daughter. There are some more but my memory ..... brrrr leaves me behind! biggrin.gif
