What would you like to know about Halima el Kendal ?

She is bred in 1998 by Mr John Jacobs (Desert Arabians), Belgium, father of Glenn Jacobs, trainer in Qatar
She is by Ass Kendal (one of the only sons of Tamarek out of Eskada RJ (Ibn Estasha), 1989 Belgian national colt foal champion, 1995 Belgian reserve national champion stallion and 1996 Belgian National champion stallion. He has been extensively used in Belgian breeding.

Her dam Ass-Thoumirah is by Ibn Estasha out of Warandes Sameera (Plakat).

Thus double Ibn Estasha and Plakat, a cross that put Belgium on the map.

Halima el Kendal has the following siblings :

- Djeddir Ibn Kendal, 1994
- Halliya el Kendal, 1996
- Haliyana el Kendal, 1997
- Halim Ibn Kendal (best known sibling)
- Shalim Ibn Kendal

I am the owner of Hallim Ibn Kendal who is the full brothers to Halima.
You can find a picture of him on INTERNATIONAL on this forum.
You then go to Deurne Tulip Cup 2002 and with the older stallions he was classwinner.
I have him since he was 5 months old , he is 10 now...and the love of my life.

Hello,

I consider to buy this beautiful mare Halima el Kendal.
Yesterday we paid her a visit. She didn't look at her best, unfortunately. So we made another appointment to see her again in june this year in Belgium. Hopefully she changes positively (no wintercoat, more weight). If it all looks good we will be the new proud owners of Halima el Kendal.

It's a pleasure hearing you like Halima el Kendal.

Of all her full siblings I believe her to be the best female of this family.
Her full brother Hallim Ibn Kendal won the Belgian National Champion title four times. The other full brother Djeddir Ibn Kendal was Belgian National reserve Champion stallion.

In 2001 I 'borrowed' AS Thoumirah, Halima's dam from my parents and had a very cute and typey colt by Sanadik El Shaklan last year. He is very special to me as he is the first one I have actually ever bred/owned myself.
he combines the blood of two full siblings El Shaklan and Estasha.

Halima el Kendal has one baby until now I believe. This little guy was born last year and is by AS Natsir Apal.

If you have the time once you're always welcome for a visit and see Halima's family. I might be in Belgium around the end of July.

Thank you all for your wonderful compliments on Halima El Kendal.
I'm her lucky owner since almost 2 years now, and she's a wonderful individual!
She's a nice riding horse and an excellent broodmare,
in March she gave us an adorable filly by Libanon Future (Ibn Estasha).
And for next year she's in foal to Ibn Estasha himself, I can hardly wait to see the result!
