I would be interested in hearing about members successes they have enjoyed with their Straight and Related Egyptian horses.

I will make a start with Saracen Karim (Shaikh Al Badi x Ruminaja Ghalima (Ansata Ibn Halima)). He was one of the first Egyptian related horses in New Zealand and a little can be read about him at: http://www.hollyfarmnz.com/stallions/saracenkarim.shtml

He was an All Breed Grand Champion Harness Horse, Champion Ridden Horse, Distance Horse winner and Show horse extraordinare.

His progeny are record setting apart the usual Show Supreme Champions but in particular in the field of Endurnace with one of the latest being Bentley who is a prized member of the Al Shaqab Endurance Qatar Team. Pictured is his debut at the Asian Games with his rider and myself.

The pleasure we have enjoyed within the Performance world with our prized and preferred Egyptian bloodlines has been enormous...!

Now let us hear yours... regards David

The above mare's SE sire, Daalim El Nefous (Fa Durra Halim x Sajha Selket) was also well trained. He won his division a USEA/USEF rated Novice Level Event (eventing's 2nd level), the only time he was shown in rated competition. He placed and won many schooling competitions in H/J, and sired several excellent performance horses, mostly half Arabs. He didn't get to show very much, as he usually had to take the 'back seat' to the larger half breds ... there simply wasn't enough $$$ to show more than one or two at a time.

The SE stallion Serenity Taruf (SF Untouchable x Serenity Marufa) was also trained to Event and ready to show. We simply weren't able to compete him before his untimely death
