Nazeer and Moniet El Nefous together produced the chestnut mare *Bint Moniet El Nefous, imported and owned by Richard Pritzlaff (we talked about her alot in the Rancho San Ignacio thread) and the chestnut stallion: *Fahker El Din, who was imported into the USA and unfortunately, was not used much at stud (he is the horse pictured). So, the USA had the distinction of having both of the progeny of this famous mating (you couldn't find it quite like this in any other place in the world) but I don't believe that Americans embraced this blood as much as they should have nor has the potential of this bloodline been used very well. What do you think?

For El Ahhim Shah:

He can be found at the portrait section, pictures at his owners site, mentioned already above.
Offspring:

Nadirah el Shah (x AK Nawaal)

That was Authentic Diiyah (x Classic Dahra), picture: Gigi Grasso

Authentic Mahiba (x Maya Samatha), picture: unknown

Authentic Aisha (x MPA Amiri Alani), picture: Melani Groger

For more offspring, you might ask his owners, there are a couple of very nice foals not yet "published" by pictures, at least I couldn't find any.

I wished if I see a lot of this horse: Ansata Shah Zaman (Morafic x Ansata Bint Mabrouka )

I think without the combination that happened in USA between both bloods of Nazeer and Moniet El Nefous; we would never see horses like: Ansata Halim Shah , Ansata Hejazi , Ext..

Hello to all,

Yes, I certainly wish that a beautiful horse like Falker El Din would have been used more and perhaps left a larger legacey than he did, his sister Bint Moniet El Nefous also only had limited stallion breedings. sad.gif

Hi Mohamed,
The graceful Ansata Shah Zaman, another good example of a breeding of full brother to full sister, what a great tribute and testing of the Great Nazeer. wink.gif

Interesting question Ralph - I think this one teams up with my recent question from Sheila's Results of High Testosterone in Stallions, thoughts on this issue would be interesting to read wink.gif

along with any stallion (and mare) who are overlooked in general... ie we reflect now on which horses in the past were a stallion producer or a mare producer and what 'value' their stock is with this condition (along with others) in mind. With the current ecomonic climate the way it is and horses more-or-less a luxury - I often wonder which current horses will be claimed as stallion producers or mare producers in the future.

HI TO ALL
WHEN THESE TWO HORSES GET MENTIONED IN THE SAME LINE OR SENTENCE IT SENDS SHIVERS DOWN MY BACK THINKING OF ALL THE WONDERFUL MATINGS THEY MADE AND HOW THOSE HORSES CONTINUED ON IN THE ARABIAN HORSES OF TODAY, YESTERDAY AND WELL INTO THE FUTURE. wink.gif

Wow, I like Fakhr El Din - why wasn't he used more often?
Robert 1
Hi Erna,
I am with you in your question as to why Fahker El Din wasn't used more as a breeding stallion, sometimes back in his day some of the breeding fees were set very high, especially on straight egyptians, I don't know about on Fahker El Din but, I would enjoy hearing why he didn't produce more. I liked his very refined look and the overall beauty of him. rolleyes.gif
