Raadin Inshalla was Region 15 Reserve Champion Park and East Coast Top Five Park in 1977. He also won Halter and English Pleasure championships as well as most classic titles. Raadin Inshalla has sired champions in both Halter and English Pleasure. Notable among these are 1977 Region 16 Top Five Mare Mahala El Jon, and English Pleasure AOTR Champion Ghazal El Ajzaa.
Inshalla's sire, *Ansata Ibn Halima, was a three time U.S. Top Ten Stallion and Region 5 Champion Park horse. He has sired over 60 champions and 14 national winners. *Ansata Ibn Halima is the only imported Egyptian stallion to sire both a U.S. National Champion Stallion (Ansata Ibn Sudan in 1972) and a U.S. National Champion Mare (Fa Halima in 1980).
Raadin Inshalla's dam is Allah Ateyyah. She is the dam of three champions, including English pleasure and native costume champion Raadin Shetan, and western pleasure champion Serr Al Sahih. Allah Ateyyah's only daughter, Raadin Hilal, is the maternal granddam of Raadin Royal Star, whose son *Simeon Shai is the only Egyptian stallion ever named U.S. and Canadian National Champion Stallion as well as World Champion Stallion at the Salon Du Cheval in Paris.
The *Ansata Ibn Halima son out of Allah Ateyyah, Ra'adin Inshalla, was also a frequent English Pleasure champion like his father, in addition to his halter wins.

Hi Clothilde,
Ashri is the father of our two geldings mentioned above. I've seen King of Nile too as he was standing at the same breeder at the time.
Thanks for the reply, if you are interested in SO breeding I can inform that Rea Nisrs Alibi has changed from owner, the new owners are Nathalie and Carl Schroeder.

In Britain we have King of the Nile (bay)and Ibn Sudan (grey), both real showmen! Both HUGE movers!
PS not a clue where they are as not seen them out and about for some time? I think both in the South of England somewhere?

Ibn Sudan is out of my beautiful Ansata Ibn Sudan daughter, W Sudans Nafisa. Her dam was a Babson mare named Idaa, a full sister to Maarena.
Ibn Sudan was raced successfully, if my information is correct.
Here's Nafisa, still living on my farm at 22.

FA Summer Star, bred by Marily Lang, and presently owned by myself, is presently awaiting the birth of her foal by Ravenwood Sheyk. Unable to knit or sew anything for her baby, we have utilized a previously posted recommendation for this new baby, if the weather here in California remains as rediculous as it has been the last few days, which will be putting a sweater on the new baby, preferably one in UCLA colors.

As much as I love USC's football team, I do want this baby to be in it's 4th year at the University and have decided on it's major.
I hope you don't perceive that as a throwing down the gauntlet.

I find that Gauntlets generally serve little purpose, wore some this morning and my hands still froze, so in lieu of tossing it down, I am more inclined to donning a few more.

There is rather famous film of Ibn Sabbah Bedu running around Fippen's farm in one of the Colonel's sweatshirts. The story I heard was that his dam would only cycle in EARLY winter, so Sabbah was born when it was very snowy and cold. Betty figured Fippen's sweatshirt would fit and it did (arms down the front legs). Can't remember which school was featured on the belly. Ask Diana Johnson.

Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentHere is Ashri Al Ameed (photo taken the day after he arrived in Belgium on lease to Pascal Lavreau who in turn purchased him). Phot by Rik Van Lent Sr.
Ashri was bred by Walter Schimansi and was purchased by Abbasiyah when he was 5 months old. Ashri has a very beautiful filly here in the U.S. out of Asmarr, the granddam of The Desperado. Ashria is owned by Tom Salome and Debbie Cooper in Texas.

LMG.... I just came back from a drive through California or I thought it was California. As the hail, snow and sleet fell and the wind howled making the wind chill feet like 20 below. I thought I was back in Canada!!! We drove right though Paso Robles. Wish we had time to stop to see those mitts on Joe. Actually we would have overpowered him and ripped them off his hands so that we could be warm as we fled California for the much warmer Texas! Remind me to tell you the Motel 6 story LMG... it would have made a great Steve Martin movie, repleat with a bucking toilet!
In any case, we sold Ashri to Pascal because we knew that he would be utilized more over there that here in the U.S. He is a super nice stallion with a wonderful disposition.
Benoit... your Ashri kids look lovely.
Thank goodness it is warm here today in Texas as we are still trying to thaw out from California

Come back next week, we are going to try out some different weather, just to see how it looks. Although, I'm a bit concerned, since my rooster kept crowing at midnight and I think that may be a portent.

LMG... What are those California seasons again?? Fire and mud slide come to mind but I don't remember freezing rain, and blizzard snow conditions.
Good thing I never found my way to Joe's place as his mitts would need to be reported as stolen to the CHP!
We inherited 2 chickens on this ranch here and as much as I hate to admit it, I don't know much about chickens other than roast chicken, fried chicken, chicken pot pie, etc. I think we have a Gertie and a Bertie but who knows? May I borrow your rooster to settle this question?
Judi .... coming back to California in a few weeks (only if it's guaranteed to be above 50 degrees!!)

Judi,
I have lived in the Santa Clara Valley (now "Silicon Valley") for all of my 50+ years. I can count only twice before when we've had snow in the foothills for SEVERAL DAYS in a row. Then add the weird hail, COLD rain, etc. and it has not been fun the past week. Just your luck you hit this weird stuff. Don't worry, we'll be back to 60's and 70's shortly.
(And what part of Calif will you be traversing on this trip? Remember, we're in Morgan Hill/Gilroy area.)

Hopefully this next trip to California will be WARMER and without a yellow Penske moving truck. I helped Sable move from San Martin to Texas and naturally, the weather managed to be the worst (mother nature must have known I was driving the moving truck!) We drove right through Paso Robles and near Creston Joe.
It would have been fun to stop but we had to have the moving truck back in Texas by a set date. The next trip will be less of a rush and we will be going through Paso and Creston on 46. Maybe LMG will consent to letting her rooster come for a visit? I can just see a rooster shackled to the top of the pickup truck and the questions that would have to be answered while going through the agricultural inspection in Arizona and Texas
Anita... I drove right by that lovely farm that you are now on and thought of you!
It would be great to come and see you on the next trip if possible.

Next Week, sometime between the 22nd till the 24th of March, Mark will be picking up one of our stallions to transport to Texas and then ultimately to OHIO. Is it Your Mark or perhaps a different one???
I really would like to know when to expect him so that I can get the appropriate date on the Health Cert.
Regards,
Joe
PS, not much to see around here excepting mud and manure up to ankles, barn flooded so the poor horses were stuck with liquid goo.......can't wait for it to dry up so that I can strip stalls and repack with fresh DG. Dang oak leaves fill the gutters and then barn floods. YUUUUUUCCCKKKKKKKKKKK.................

I thought of you when we went over the pass in Tehachapi (in a blizzard of snow and sleet). I thought for sure you wouldn't have snow at your place

but your photos proved me wrong! How many feet of snow were there at that 6,000 foot level??
When we drove through Arizona the following day they had torrents of rain, the first in over a 100 plus days. We must have dragged it along behind the moving truck. All the bad weather and the Motel 6 experience made this trip one to put down in the history books

You notice LMG has not replied to my request for rooster rental!! She must like to hear him crow at midnight

Sorry about that. I had taken a poll from the hens and it is as follows:
Four hens against letting the rooster go to Texas, as he is a flashy piece of work and one hen who doesn't care, because she has an unrequited relationship with
a cat.

Drats LMG, now we will have to prepare an ad in the personals column requesting a chicken sexing specialist, that is unless you or JAG want to visit WARM Texas and can assist in this matter?

Until further notice they will remain Gertie and Bertie. They would like a photo of your flashy piece of work as a pin up in the cage if possible.
