Hi, Just wondering is anyone can help point me in the right direction finding info on Focus Farm? Do they have a web site?
I have tried several internet searches and you can imagine got everything other than what I wanted with the word Focus

)
Also any info on the stallion Sun Streaker which I see is in a number of Focus Farm pedigees.
Thankyou.

Loy and Linda Davidson are now divorced but are still involved with the horses. Linda goes by the last name of Gentsh, she still has the Farm in Union, Missouri. Loy is remarried and still has Focus bred horses, and he lives near Sullivan, Missouri.

Thankyou arabchic. Anyone else please.... even a site with some focus farm bred horses. I did stumble across a site months ago, but I can seem to find it now.

I won't post a URL but if you go to google, type in Focus Arabians and click search, you will get a bunch of pages of breeders who have Focus horses. They were exceptional, were they not?

Oh! be still my heart! Focus Farm? I remarked to a friend recently that every ad they published in Arabian Horse World magazine, contained photos of the "typiest" Arabian horses to be see on one farm. When they ran their two-page ad to disperse their stock, a grey stallion named Focus Navarrone really caught my eye. I've always wondered what happened to him. He was a stallion that I would have loved to own.
Kamali, Prince Fanali, Shali, among so may others, are simply unforgetable stallions. Focus Alimus was three-time National Champion Native Costume Horse.
And who could forget the exquisite filly, Focus Filigree?
Wow! Did they ever have a great breeding program.

One of my mares is by Focus Alimus out of Focus Ultina. She is a great CEP mover. When she does Liberty, it's hard to take your eyes of her. I agree, Susan...be still my heart. Consider them one of the master breeders ever to grace this breed.

It is also helpful to do a search on the individual stallions that Focus had...Focus Khemali, Focus Shali, Focus Finali, Focus Alimus, and Focus Prince Fanali...

My sister has a stallion by Focus Khemali and he can really move too; you just kinda of sigh when he is showing off. Very good temperment too.
I don't know Linda's # but she is still in Union, MO; we saw her at the feed store and she was still breeding and was telling us about some of the foals she had on the way. Their horses had a lot of type and good movement.

We look forward to seeing the new foal list coming from this breeding program. Is there a way to ask for a foal list along with photos and videos?
P.S. Shady is the name of one of my dogs. Your handle sure jumped at me!

I don't know if Linda is advertising; she probably sells enough horses from past clients; if I can come up with a phone # for her I'll get to you. Focus Farms had horses with big eyes , lots of type and good movement.
Shady is one of my mares names. I used to be on line years ago in the Arabchat on Saturday nights as SherryArab and I'm pretty sure you used to be there too??

Kewl! Thanks! It was probably about 5 years ago that I found out about the Internet, which took some time getting used to it and find my way around. Chat was more recent than that so I did not know a SherryArab.

I'm a little late to this party, but I just discovered this web site.
I own a Focus Farm horse - Focus Famyse, who is out of Focus Fanali. I have owned her for 17 years now. We have been sucessful in hunter/jumper, dressage, and combined training events. We also fox hunted for several years. She is 22 years old now, and is still jumping (although smaller jumps), and is very active. A great best friend to have, I am grateful for the time we've had together so far.
Cheers,
Jenny

It's okay to be fashionably late to the party, isn't it? I also own a Focus horse - Focus Flair, my new stallion. I have only had him since December, but we are impressed with him evey single day and are ridiculously fond of him. He has beauty, brains, and movement to spare. He is easier to handle and ride than my mares, and lives to please. He has been almost exclusively a breeding stallion all his life, with little formal under saddle work, but we are training Dressage, Hunter, and over fences now. I will try to attach a pic...

Oh, Cassie

! He's absolutely exquisite. Now for all those "neck" aficionados, you can't get a much more beautiful neck than this beauty possesses. And my favorite color, too--flaxen chestnut!
Oh, you are one lucky lady!
You simply must show this horse. He's just too beautiful to not show him off!
Good luck, and thanks for sharing the story and pic!

Oh, now I'm blushing. Thank you for the compliments. I have not ridden him much, but we have a "B" show coming up in 10 weeks, and plan to be there. I am planning something really special for the Stallion Showcase, but it will take a LOT of work to get it right so I hope he agrees with me and my plan. I feel honored to have him in my barn.
Thanks!

Here is my Focus stallion who my sister mentioned earlier on this thread--Focus Hautkhemali AKA "Valor"--unbelievable movement, huge black eyes and an unsurpassed temperment. Without doubt the love of my life!

Hello everyone! I am Lonnie Leavitt, last owner of Focus Alimus, and am so pleased to see this discussion going on. My last email adress on Linda Gentsch, Alimus's breeder, is lindagentsch@aol.com. We love and miss Alimus everyday!

Hopefefully you'll find them.
I met Loy Davidson accidently when I visited Gleannloch Farms many years ago.
He videotaped the horses and was very kind. I didn't know who he was
and asked if he had horses. "Some," he replied and showed me some photos.
Of course, I recognized some of the stallions from the ads I had seen and
instantly new who he was! He then head one of the most typey horses I had
ever seen. He is one of those breedsr who recognize quality no matter what bloodlines
involved. He was one of the first to use Ruminaja Ali, he utilized the Khemosabi bllod
and again was one of the first who saw the potential of Padrons Psyche.
Some of the Focus horses came to Europe and all of them won big at shows here.
They have superb type, presence galore, and can really move.
