Which are your favourite Straight Egyptian stallions from this region if it comes to breeding?
To name a few; Ansata Hejazi, Ansata Sirius, Ansata Nile Echo, Imperial Madori, Gazal Sakr, Safir, Ashhal Al Rayyan, Al Adeed Al Shaqab,...
Thanks for your input...

Safir recently had passed away.
Ansata Hejazi is my choice. Why? He sired very good daughters
and formidable sons like Ansata Nile Echo and Ansata Selman. Another one would be Imperial Madori, who sired exquisite get in Egypt so far.

Depending on the mare you breed the stallion to, I believe all sires mentioned above are of 1st rate quality in the breeding barn.
In Egypt I am anxious to see their stallions and offspring.
As for personal favourites, I believe Ashhal Al Rayyan is stamping his foals with a beautiful and refined look and at our farm I think Ansata Nile Echo is able to put some exquisite foals on the ground.
Following are two daughters of Ansata Nile Echo... the first one being out of Ansata Paloma (Prince Fa Moniet) and the second one being out of Ansata Aya Nadira (Jamill).
Best regards,
Glenn

Dear Hansi,
All of our stallions, as soon as they are old enough are broken to ride. Most of our mares are not ridden though and mainly being used for breeding.
Ansata Shalim (pictured above) is ridden daily and is actually a wonderful riding horse as well.
We are not riding in competition, as this is not our aim or ambition. Also here in the Middle East riding classes are not as big as in the US.
I'll post some photos of the stallions under saddle soon.
All my best,
Glenn

Hi Dennis.

You read my mind...when I saw the list. There are fathers and there are sons on the same list. It's hard to say WHO is more important...sort of like what came first, the chicken or the egg?

The other phenomenon that I see at work here is the fascination with the sire line, to the exclusion of what the dam line may have contributed, which is just as important (maybe even more, as the mare raises the foal and not the sire).

In the case of Ansata Nile Echo, for example, he comes from a very powerful family of horses through the *Ansata Ibn Halima daughter
Falima:

Who also was a daughter of the straight Babson Egyptian mare,
Fa-Habba:

This mare, Fa-Habba was a daughter of the mare, *Bint Bint Sabbah and the stallion, *Fadl. She was the first generation, born in America of these Egyptian horses.

Hi Diana,
I might come over to see the Egyptian Event, but I didn't make any sure plans yet.
I might see you there then! If you have plans to visit the farms in the Middle East, you're very welcome to visit Al Naif Stud.

Hello everyone,
I believe all the stallions you mentioned are really outstanding. One more stallion that I was impressed by when I saw in Qatar was Moroc (Imperial Imdal X Najiba). He really has great nick and movement.

You can see a video of him at this link:
Moroc VideoHe stands in Al Nasser Stud in Qatar.

safir and adnan, produced the best but unfotunately both passed away.safir son Ashhal ,aladeed, anasata shalim ,Hejazi,Ali daar, almortajis all are currently doing agood job. BUT watch out for the future stalions ,sinan alrayyan and my own beutiful stallion NAIF ALRAYYAN (aladeed x RN safia) . Although he was only tried on few mares I have had excelent results with him. you can fined photos of 3 of his colts on this site under the topic ANASATA SPLENDORA GRAND SONS.

There is a very promising new young stallion in Kuwait Sinan AL rayyan (Ansata sinan - Alwajba AL rayyan) ho started his breeding season last year and so far proved him self with a good number of amaizing foals.
Also they have imported the stallion AlKadir ho started his first breeding this year.
