I'm trying to track down any offspring of this stallion and any history of him. He was known as "Shokry" in Germany, I think, and was imported to the U.S. and owned by KEM Arabians of Montana. We own an aged daughter of his and I remember 2 others owned by Dainton Arabians of Wyoming, where we bought Queensilk. Safir was later owned by Willomar Arabians and later went to Canada. I've tried to contact owners of his daughters, but no reply. Can anyone fill in the gaps and lead me to owners names and addresses? Safir was such an absolutely gorgeous stallion and just did not get the recognition due him. Thanks for any help.

We have the only mare and stallion sired by *Kem Safir that are Al Khamsa (tracing to Soldateska). The mare has a weanling filly and we have another mare that is bred to Safir's son, Zahi Al Rafiq. The Europa ancestral element tracing to Soldateska is hanging on by a tiny thread in North America.
