Thanks and attached is photo of Sohar taken just prior to him arriving.

Dear Greg,
CONGRATULATIONS for your wonderful colt, as you probably have noticed in this forum
I am a GREAT fan of Nasr's horses and so my opinion should not be objective...to me when an Arabian Horse has, in a way or another, some ALBADEIA blood, there is a touch of class that makes the difference....this combination with the wonderful ASFOUR is particularly good and the results are so evident looking at your beautiful Simeon Sohar. So, once more my best wishes to him and congratulations to you and your stud farm and if you have other photos, please share them with us

Paola I totally agree with you I have a colt by Nabeel II (Maysoun x AK Bint Nabilahh)and Bint Salamat Albadeia, and though his grandmother is Albadeia but there is just a trait that is very prominent and beautiful that Albadeia horses contribute, and definitely very noticeable. I don't know what it is exactly but it is evident especially with top level horses, and this shows in Simeon Sohar. A lovely colt congratulations Greg.
All the Best,
Dina

Hi Greg
this is a beautiful photo of a beautiful filly, now the dam of your colt. I expected no less from Albadeia anyway.
Lots of luck with the new edition.

Dear Greg,
Simeon Sohar looks great. I had seen photos for him when he was younger and Marion and I were quite excited about him. He sure grew up to our expectations.
I am thrilled that you think highly of him as well and I hope that he will be a stallion that will give you the foals of your dream and reward you for chosing him.
Attached are two photos taken for Wed when she was stll with her Mother. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos when she was older. These photos were taken by Gabrielle Boiselle.
Thanks for your post.

Gosh Nasr, I have not heard from you in a very long time!

Too long, I think! So, it is very nice to "discover" this message, along with the lovely photos of Wed Albadeia. As with all the pictures that you post, they succeed in taking my breath away. She is a lovely mare and I like her very noticeable wither in the first photo and her big chest in the second. My kind of horse.
To be able to shake your hand, talk and laugh with you would be a dream, however, my son graduates from 8th grade in June and I think, although I am not sure at the moment that the graduation date conflicts with the EE. If it doesn't, I will make every effort to be there, even if for a day.
Good to hear from you again and it will be better to talk with you.

Hi Nasr
You are welcome. I cant wait for your studbook. thanks so much.
I will try to be at the event, and when not in the arena, probably running arround looking at many horses in the stall area, as I can.
And of course, will be at those endurance races, cant wait to find out who is running and winning.
Last year they had 117 entries I think and in this some 11 SE's I think. I hope that the SE's breeders learned a lesson and that this time the number is reversed.Well, we will see. Hate to continue being a dreamer on that subkect.
Take good care and have a safe trip to here and stay safe overthere,
"the fireant piles" let out, and cant find their way back into the nest, ha!.

Congratulations on your new colt Simeon Sohar, you really have some lovely arabians and no doubt S Sohar will grow into one of the most beauitful Asfour stallions in Australia, his breeding certainly is unique.
