Somebody knows something about the South African Nationals?
JacoGuest
Yes,

The supreme champion stallion was Rasheeq El Azeem. He is bred by the Mosterts of Rasheeq stud. He is by the imported stallion PGN Prizim(Sha Azim and PGN Yours Truley by Kaiyoom) and the mare DJ Infatuation (by Echo Magnificoo).
A Bay stallion of very good confimation and exceptional movement. He was junior champion stallion last year. His first foal crop is indeed very promising. What makes his victory even sweeter is that he is the first National Champion stallion for a VERY long time that was home bred and not an import.

I thnk second was the Ali Jamaal import of the Van Wyks - Bey El Jamaal. He is out of the legendary Ali Jamaal out of a Bey Shah daughter.
The mare class was won by MSA Veronica, another Echo Mangificoo mare of the Brown.

I will try and post some pictures when I receive them!

You can see some pictures of the national championships on www.equerry.co.za They are not good quality, but at least you will get an idea. <_<

The Supreme Champion Mare MSA Veronica, bred by Morning Star and Michael Byatt Arabians, is by Versace out of an Echo Magnifico daughter. Reserve Champion Mare was a Shaman AA daughter, out of a Simeon Shai daughter also bred by Michael Byatt Arabians and Fern Springs -- her name is Shamans Fanfare. In addition, a Besson Carol filly was Champion filly foal. All of the above horses are owned by the Brown Family. Fun show for us! Michael Byatt

Michael,
can you tell me why Shaman AA was gelded? I saw him many years ago and he made a stunning impression on me.

Congratulations to the Brown family and Michael Byatt Arabians but please do not forget the super job Christian Francescina did on behalf of Byatt Arabians with these horses.

Well done Christian, way to go - keep rocking.
