Full Version: How The Egyptian Event Was Better This Time Forum > Overview - ‹bersicht > Discussion - Diskussion
I have been reading on other websites of people happier with what they have seen and experienced at this year's Egyptian Event, and several people who want to thank The Pyramid Society for making positive improvements, and others are renewing their memberships to TPS based on these positive changes. So perhaps we could open up a thread to get ideas and feedback for Egyptian horse enthusiasts to preserve the good points of this year's Event, and strive for other creative, progressive things in the future. Thank you, Marilee (TPS member since 1981) smile.gif
Would love to hear your thoughts and feelings regarding this years' show. We have been having a great discussion elsewhere, but also would like to hear from those who read and write over here. Thank you. (will be forwarding responses to The Pyramid Society)
bump for survey about TPS and the Event.....

I believe the decision to award Gold, Silver, and Bronze placings to the Junior and Senior Mares and Stallions, and to eliminate the Supreme Championship awards were both good moves by the Pyramid Society. I enjoyed finals night with the new format.

The horses this year were exceptional, and it was good to see more international participation again.

I would like to see the Pyramid Society assist in sending the top 8 placing horses of the Egyptian Event to the Salon du Cheval, with the Bronze horse in place to go if either the Silver or Gold horses are unable to make the trip.

I wish they had rejudged all the horses in the championship classes to evaluate their movement at the walk and trot, and given them points like they other classes. This is the first time ALL 4 JUDGES got to evaluate all the horses. And after a long week - not sure if they could remember how each horse moved at the walk and trto, and to and from the 3 judges who did individual classes.
