Hello Everyone,
A friend of mine has asked me to try and find an exotic picture of an arabian. She has been asked to do a drawing of the selected picture to be donated and auctioned off during a show here in Australia. She is very talented, and is hoping someone will have a great head and neck shot of one of their horses that she would have permission to draw. The owner of the horse would recieve a photographed copy of the drawing and the original would be auctioned! The horses name would be printed on the drawing, so this is a great way to advertise your horse for free.
please send any photographs through...
Kind Regards,
Lachlan Bate

I agree - some really pretty horses here, but that photo that Carol took of Maaria already LOOKS like a painting to me and it definitely fits the "exotic" horse qualification.

It's fun to see everyone bring out their pride and joy!

You are such a friend. Hey here is that photo we got the other day of that Gatsby filly over at Rose Hill- she was pretty exotic too! You are lucky to have that breeding to him!

You are so right Carol - he is a star with so much personality. I am taking him to Nationals so we will hope the judges like him as much.

Amy,
I am SURE they will like him. I actually feel proud of him after seeing him as a young horse - it is so wonderful that he has an owner like you so he gets to reach his full potential. It is a real success story!!!

If you would like to see some more photos that are examples of extreme type, please visit my website sales list at www.falconwoodarabians.com. You will see some THEE GAMBLER fillies that are very nice. GAMBLER does a good job passing on his type. I will try to post one of the photos, but may not be successful.

The filly FW FAHTIA in the previous photo has already been sold, but her photo is a good example of "Arabian type." The photo of the typey stallion below is of her sire, THEE GAMBLER.

Hi Nancy,
Some horses are just a joy to photograph and FAHTIA was like that. She always looked beautiful no matter what she was doing.
Anyway, she sold in April, when she was eight months old. She has a very nice home in Florida.
Thanks for asking.

Thanks for your kind comments Nancy. Although Damietta is a substantial mare, she is the most gentle of horses and has a simply wonderful temperament. We are thrilled to bits with her as she is now almost pure white and quickly turning fleabitten very much like her famous Sire (Prince Al Morafic.) She has also his fantastic movement. We just love her to bits! Sincerley, Dorothy.
