Oh gosh, they are lovely! I bought a fluffy toy version of one when I went to Switzerland as my family can't stand dogs so I don't have one.

They are utterly, utterly adorable! One of my favourite types of dogs. You must be so proud of them!

Hi Birgit! You and I have spoken privately through email, regarding your nice puppies. I wanted to share the following picture with you. This is a 4-year old male Bernese Mountain Dog named Jake. It makes the woman in the picture look very tiny, which she is not. She is 5' 8"!!! And from reading about the different Sennenhund breeds, the Bernese Mountain Dog is not as big as the Swissies!!!

I saw some grey puppies, right? is that allowed? I never saw grey benner senne dogs at dog shows.

Dear Peter,
yes you saw right ,it is a mood of nature.There were 1% of 100 become grey born.
If they arose they become "Blue" (dark antrazit)
and for sure the nature meant it good with us we have 3 grey out of 7

Hi Birgit...I never saw this special color and I think it is nice. It is really different. I remember seeing a Berner pup with blue eyes, which looked very different but I don't remember his coat color other than he had a lot of white. What happens to the grey dogs? Can they still be shown and breed?

I also want to say that gosh, seeing the puppies all together is just an awesome sight....even though I realize how much work it must be, it seems that it is also so much fun! THey are really adorable.
