Dear guest,

Do you know at what time the foalclass is on saturday? I would love to see them but we have planned a visit to the presentation/ sale at Forlocks arabians (Kubinec will be there rolleyes.gif )at the same day.
This presentation starts late in the afternoon so if the foalclasses are held first thing in the morning we just might make it to visit both.

I believe Helen van Nes is in the hospital recovering from a hernia. She has been run over by horses (handled by Frank Spönle) while judging in Italy blink.gif

Is that true??? Please can somebody confirm this? If so, my sympathy goes to Helen!

OOOPS Mr.Spönle , wich horse?

It seems S. Eberhards has broken her leg , Is that true ?

sad.gif Yes Peter, Helen is being released from the hospital today. She was run over by a horse handled by Frank Sponle while judging classes in Italy. According to her father she had a herniated disk in her back and they operated on this to relieve the pressure on her nerve. As stated in the thread on Helen, a letter is going to be sent to ECAHO regarding this matter.

Our best wishes to Helen for a speedy recovery smile.gif Unfortunately Helen will be unable to judge this show!

As far as I know, Eternity Ibn Navarrone D (or a son of him ? - sms are not always that clear) was entered in the liberty class. He was however beaten by Gloire d'Eversam (Warandes Pascha x Bint Shaklana), owned by amateur owners. Gloire is a moving machine smile.gif

So the only known result till now : Gloire d'Eversam won the liberty class stallions
horseranch
It was a son of ET (Joy ibn Eternity I believe). wink.gif

Slight correction, Helen was not run over by the colt handled by Frank Sponle. She had to jump out of the way of the colt for the third time and tripped over a pot of flowers hurting her back. It should not have been allowed to happen three times. The handler should have been warned the first time and sent out of the ring the second time.

It seems there is no discipline. Several years ago a famous handler was sent out of the ring here for hitting another handler's stallion with his whip when it bit him. In my book he was quite right to do it and the stallion who bit should have been sent out of the ring but at least something was done even if, in my opinion, it was the wrong person sent out.

Sylvie Eberhardt also ended up with her leg in plaster at the same show.

Best wishes

Layyan is a colt and he was fourth in his class!

I heard that Bess-Delilay was reserve junior champion?

Ooops , Sorry

The right RESERVE Champion Filly is Mahala by Al Lahab
and CHAMPION is Estarda ( Ekstern x Narisma ) owned by peter Wilms.

Which judges were used at the show? As some of those posted earlier seem to be out due to injury!

Navarroné did it again!!!! biggrin.gif First Escape, than Eternity and now shahir! I saw him and he was fantastic. He has very good movements and the jugdes saw that. Three times 20 for movements en three times 20 for type. biggrin.gif A total score of 94.67%. I hope he goes to Deurne, because I will be there and I can not wait to see hem again! He's my love and my sweetheart.

Congratulations to Martine and Paul Despeghel - Vanhee.

And also to Frank Spönle and his team!

Shahir got 94 pt and not 94.67
Tom Oben
What does it matter that he had 0.67 less then this Shadah told.
He won by unanimous dicesion. A well deserved victory.
congratulations to Frank and his owners.

Also a special mention has to go to Peter Wilms. It has been 10 years since he won again with a homebred horse. For many years he couldnt take his own horses because of clients horses but now he had a place for his filly. The result was that he became champion filly! Well done Peter and Heidi!
fantasiaa
Big congratulations for Peter, well done. I also would like to thank Tom Oben for showing Padrons Kadar during the stallion presentation.
Thank you again, Tom, for your good job with my old boy!

That is interesting, I have always found Escape much more impressive than Eternity. I didn't realise there was still a full brother around in the shadows.

As far as I'm aware of, his last outing was at the world championships in Paris 2003, where he won his class, and ended up Top Three in the championships + the title of most classic head.

The same year, he also won his class in Aachen and became Top Five senior stallions

Although Natsir Apal and Sinans Pacha are closely related (both have Saskia RJ as dam), Shahir and Escape are not brothers

Well, they are HALFbrothers (or 3/4) because they have the same mom tongue.gif
