"Nearly three decades ago a picture appeared that would shape an opinion that would last a lifetime. Three Nazeer sons gathered together in Houston, Texas for a special presentation. Morafic, Ansata Ibn Halima, and Talal gathered on a lawn at the Pin Oak show and regally surveyed each other. Captured forever by photography - that picture was printed in magazine after magazine. And one faithful reader, of any and every magazine about horses, saw that picture and fell in love."

I read this at Micheal Byatt's homepage; WANNA SEE THE PIC!! biggrin.gif

Can see it just fine. smile.gif It just takes a little bit to load. If, like me, you have a slower connection; you may have to click "refresh" in your browser a time or two to completely load all the pictures.

I was there when those stallions were presented. You know which stallion was the most popular and gave the most spectacular show? It was FADJUR . He was a H--- of a stallion. He was presented by his owner. They brought him all the way from California just for that presentation. Surf was there too. H e was a big bodied stallion and gentle as a dog. Maggie used to ride him. Fadjur still stands out in my mind, he was beautiful!

Hi Kay,

all who have seen the legendary Fadjur in the flesh talk about his unbelievable presence and charisma.
