Friends,
I'm having a bit of a hardware conflict that I need help with from all the photo buffs out there... For some reason since my PowerBook G4 came back rebuilt, I have had difficulty sending photos in a format that my friends with PCs can see! Have any of you had this problem and how did you save the photos in a format that your PC (Non Apple) people could see? I could call Apple support but I'm guessing there must be someone out there who has had this issue too.
Thanks,
Carol Maginn

Carol,
Wish I had a MAC! Diana has one now, and maybe she'll know what is causing your problem. I'll email her, and ask her to post if she does!!!

Thanks Lisa... I am so irritated - I don't know why it isn't working!!! So now what I'm doing is putting all the photos on a CD and then opening them on the PC... Everyone can normally open the CD's so that should work... Lisa - they have a new MAC that is very inexpensive now - like $400! all you have to have is a monitor and keyboard! It nice and compact too so you can take it on the road... Its called a "Mini Mac" - you should check it out... Its worth it just to get the software!!!

Hey!!! It worked!!! I really am a ding a ling sometimes I swear... So if this ever happens to you - you can copy the photos on a CD and open them on the PC and then they seem to send okay from the PC... But I'd still like to know how to be sure that someone with a PC can read my files when emailed directly from the MAC (without copying onto the CD first). Hope Di figures this out the writes back (as if she has nothing better to do on her B-Day right!!!)
