A proven sire that stamps his foals with his own qualities, Safeen is now standing for his first breeding season in Germany. For several years Safeen was used as a head sire of Montebello Farms in Canada with great success and later was sold to Israel where he left a wonderful legacy behind. He is a stallion of classical Kuhaylan type. A Class A Grand Champion in Canada, Safeen was Top Five Two Year Old Futurity Colt as well as Champion Extended Speciality Colts of 1991 at the Egyptian Event in Kentuck/USA. Safeen not only turns heads with his beauty, harmony and correct conformation, but he steals the hearts wherever he goes. He is a perfect gentleman when he is around people and horses alike. Safeen consistently sires outstanding foals out of a variety of different mares. They all inherit his extremely chiselled ears, expandable nostrils and beautiful muzzle. Among others he sired the multi halter and performance champion stallion Shy Gayfeen who earned his Legion of Masters and Legion of Excellence, the highest honours given by the American Arabian Horse Association. Safeen’s son EAI Silvereen is head sire of El Masr Arabian Stud in the USA and is known not only for his beauty and airy way of moving but for siring excellent foals as well. The multi champion Sigar (Safeen x MB Ballur) has won the "Horse of the Year" award (halter and performance) in Canada several times. Safeen’s beautiful daughter HAF Orana Safeena (x Dorian Jumana) was two times champion mare in Israel. The ethereal MB Moneena (Safeen x Talmona) was acquired by Judith Forbis for her world-reknowned Ansata Arabian Stud and produced outstanding foals who found their new homes in Great Britain and Oman. Safeen foals come in all colours and even with grey mares he produces colour. His own beauty combined with his ability as a sire make him an excellent choice for your breeding programme! Safeen’s flawless pedigree with some rare outcross elements is the alternative solution for Europe. He stems from the rare Shahloul sire line through Mashhour and his son Seef. Though his pedigree is dominated by Kuhaylan blood you’ll find many famous Saklawi ancestors as well. His sire Ibn Safinaz (Seef x Safinaz by Alaa El Din) boasts many crosses to the Saklawi stallion Shahloul and his full brother Hamdan. Ibn Safinaz was a U.S. National Top Ten Stallion in halter, won countless halter and performance championships and was many times Get of Sire champion. His kind disposition, athleticism and the Kuhaylan type were transmitted to Safeen. Ibn Safinaz’s pedigree traces in tail female line to Shahbaa, a direct daughter of Hamdan. A mare of the rare Kuhaylah Krush strain, she was known for her exquisite beauty and quality. Her granddaughter Safinaz (Alaa El Din x Ramza) was regarded as one of the most beautiful daughters of the famous Alaa El Din. Safeen’s dam Abitibi Madeena is a daughter of the famous German bred stallion Imperial Madheen (Messaoud x Madinah) and therefore Safeen will nick well with mares of German lines. In tail female line she goes back to the original Babson import, Bint Serra. Abitibi Madeena’s pedigree contains the elegant stallions Moniet El Nafis (Ibn Moniet El Nefous x Hoyeda) and Ansata Shah Zaman (Morafic x Ansata Bint Mabrouka) who are inbred to Morafic and Moniet El Nefous. Thus giving Safeen another infusion of Saklawi type which he is able to pass on with the right mares! PERSONALITY Safeen is extremely confident and loaded with personality. „Presence“ is the word that comes to mind when you see him for the very first time. However, his beauty isn't just skin deep. Sensible, trainable, and personable are other ways you can describe this stallion. This comes as no surprise when you take into consideration that he is a son of Ibn Safinaz and a grandson of Imperial Madheen. Both stallions were well-known for their kind temperament, trainability and people-loving temperament – and both of them passed these attributes on to their progeny. Safeen is no exception. He is always willing to please and seems to be throwing that in his babies as well. What more can you ask for?
