FACTS Beauty,
balance, refinement and a feeling of pleasure, represent some of what
Stavs Kru Sayd means to Pearsons View Arabians. He is the product
of full brother Simeon Stav (Asfour x Simeon Safanad) to full sister
Simeon Shaina (Asfour x Simeon Safanad) and is the oldest of three
full siblings, including the animated young stallion Stavs Kin Shahsa
and the treasure of Pearsons View, the filly Stavs Sorsha. Stavs Kru
Sayd is double Asfour (Malik x Hanan) and double Simeon Safanad (Sankt
Georg x 27 Ibn Galal V). A very correct horse, Stavs Kru Sayd delights
the eye with his lovely proportions. Only lightly shown for A class
placings, his major role primarily at this stage is as a replacement
for his sire. His oldest progeny are two years old and to date all
foals have been born either black or black/bay and only time will
tell if he will sire solid colour. It's interesting that Stavs Kru
Sayd's foals strongly resemble himself at the same age; it's a little
like adding
a new layer of beauty with each generation. The Pearsons View bred fillies Pearsons D'Ahira, Pearsons Vyshni and Kru Shaa have his unmistakable refinement of bone and free easy movement, smooth lines and lovely feminine expressive faces, curly ears with that wonderful ever curious outgoing personalities. Kru Sayd's sire and dam do not need a lengthy introduction but suffice
to say that without Asfour and Simeon Safanad the Arabian world would
not have some of the most productive Arabians of today. Stavs Kru
Sayd and his siblings are the only living results of mating a son
of Asfour x Simeon Safanad over an Asfour x Simeon Safanad daughter.
In his pedigree his great grand parents read Malik, Hanan, Sankt Georg
(imported from the USA) and 27 Ibn Galal V (imported from Babolna).
His strain is Hadban Enzahi and he stands proudly alongside his sire
Simeon Stav, his younger full brother Stavs Kin Shahsa and the ever-fascinating
Salaa Sihr (imported from the USA). PERSONALITY He
bounds full of energy and vitality at every opportunity and especially
when its time to go into his stable each night. Bouncing around snorting
down his nostrils as you stand and wait patiently for his little performance
to finish, he decides when it's complete, accepts his treat and goes
off to bed! He is without a doubt a joker, as he enjoys nothing more
than grasping the lead chain in his teeth and taking his handler for
a walk! Most of all he loves to play with his feed dish, racing madly
around the paddock and at other times casually taking it for a walk,
with swinging his dish in the air or keeping it firmly in his mouth.
Such antics like dropping his feed dish over the fence at lunch-time
cause the visitors at Pearsons View much laughter! He can be very
self-assured one moment and relying on his owner's comfort the next.
He is certainly not a normal personality… but who wants normal
anyway!
